Games Station Edge

Project Description

This was an experimental game to learn how to use Unity and C#. It took me around 3 month to get the "final" result. Indeed, this game is not finished because I don't have the time to continue it. But the game structure is here and you can download it and take a look.

As I said, I used Unity as 3D motor, and I wrote the scripts in C#. The 3D models were most of the time created by me (around 80% of them), and that's why I couldn't handle the production of this game by myself. I used blender to create and edit the 3D models.

Basically, the player starts with a single spashing floating in the emptyness of space. Each day the player get a monthly salary corresponding to the salaries of the astronauts inside the spaceship. The more qualified they are, the more money they get. And obviously, the more people there are, the more money you get. So then, with this money you can build materials to add some pieces to your stations (including dormitory to add more people, solar panels to have more electricity, work place etc...). But if the basic needs of your astronauts aren't fullfilled, you will first : kill them, and second : lose in reputation. So the hard part in this game is to maintain an equilibrium between needs and creation
